a hybrid between an old style and a new one.

you can disregard the first page from this project, aside from a few key panels, i'm re-doing it.

This is looking mucho awesome. I think I've said this before, but I love that you take the time to draw super realistic BG stuff like that power pole.

I'm feeling the need to quote Banky from Chasing Amy.

I love...LOVE the greys..that's something I've been trying to do with my work....using inkwashes and the like. I could never get it to come out right, or even.

You sir, have one fine lookin' page here. can't wait to see the rest.

thanks dusty.
just sent in these images to insure i could do the book in this style, they loved it.
most of my nervousness about nailing down a style of mine from 5 years ago has died down.
i just finaly told myself "they get what they get and that's that"
turns out they flipped.
go with the gut eh?
also
micheal golden has just joined an artist management firm of some repute.
they promise to get that "work of michael golden" book crankin', or so it seems.

i picked up that "monsters" portfolio he did, sadly it only had one new piece in it...the kong piece.

btw any idea how i can get my hands on the Toth Torpedo stuff, what was it called officially?
how manny issues did he do?
and have you seen the work of Noel Sickle...AMAZING!

Wow, the strong shadows and silhouettes are very powerful and make for a nice evocative atmosphere!
